Altfield Home is the newest branch of Altfield London specialising in home accessories, currently offering a wide selection of ex-display cushion covers created with fabrics from our internationally renowned brands.

Curators of fine Textiles, Wallcoverings & Leather, Altfield London has been distributing high end lines since 1982. Our lines embody the richness of design and material which have become synonymous with the Altfield brand, and offer the perfect balance between beauty and performance.

At Altfield we are extremely conscious of the waste produced by our industry and are constantly striving for new ideas to reduce our own impact. Altfield Home products are crafted as part of our latest initiative to combat our textiles waste.

This new concept utilises fabric offcuts, discontinued fabrics and ex display products; upcycling them into luxury homeware pieces.

HISTORY

Homeware and antiques have always been at the heart of Altfield. Originally known as De Leche Et Cie, the company was fist established in 1982 selling needle point cushions, from a small warehouse space in Westbury in Wiltshire.

Following the success of the needle point cushions, in particular the signature ‘redoute’ flower collection, over the next few years, we expanded into porcelain, lighting, Japanese Screens, Chinoiserie wallpaper panels, hand carved water gilded mirrors and then Antique Chinese Furniture, where we became a leading dealer, specialising in 18th & 19th Century Ming style furniture from China’s regions.

In 1995 De Leche Et Cie was merged into the Altfield Group of Companies which coincided with the opening of the first Altfield London showroom in the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour.
